Shipping Policy
Order Processing
All orders are processed within one (1) to two (2) business days after payment is received, unless otherwise specified.
Orders placed after 2:00 PM (local time) on week days will be processed on the following business day. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Processing times for bulk, large-volume, or wholesale orders may vary based on inventory availability, order size, and preparation requirements. Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION reserves the right to extend processing times as necessary and will notify the customer accordingly.
Shipping Methods
Orders are shipped via third-party carriers, including but not limited to UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers, at the sole discretion of Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION.
Retail orders are typically shipped via standard parcel services.
Bulk or wholesale orders may be shipped via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) or other freight services.
Mita's Discount Corner reserves the right to select the most appropriate shipping method based on order specifications.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on standard estimated weight, dimensions, destination, and shipping method. Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION reserves the right to adjust shipping charges to reflect actual package weight, dimensions, and carrier rates at the time of shipment.
For bulk or wholesale orders, shipping charges are based on standard carrier rates and may be estimated at the time of order. Final shipping charges may be adjusted to reflect the actual cost after the order has been prepared, including final weight, dimensions, and carrier pricing, unless otherwise agreed in writing
Freight costs may be billed separately or quoted prior to shipment
All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Standard Shipping: Approximately 2–7 business days
Freight Shipping: Approximately 3–10 business days, depending on carrier and destination
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION shall not be liable for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond its control.
Title and Risk of Loss
All shipments are made FOB Shipping Point. Title to and risk of loss pass to the customer upon transfer of the goods to the carrier.
Tracking and Delivery
Tracking information will be provided when available. It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor shipment progress and ensure that arrangements are made to receive the delivery.
Mita's Discount Corner is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier.
Shipping Address
Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase.
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses.
Orders returned due to address errors may be subject to additional shipping fees for redelivery.
Freight Shipments (Bulk & Wholesale)
For freight deliveries:
The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible to freight carriers
Any special services (including liftgate, residential delivery, or limited access delivery) must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges
The customer must inspect all shipments at the time of delivery
Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing.
Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments
Customers must report any damaged, lost, or missing items within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
All claims are subject to review and will be handled in accordance with the Return Policy.
Force Majeure
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, weather conditions, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, transportation interruptions, governmental actions, or other unforeseen events.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the State of Texas:
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of use, arising out of or related to the shipment, delivery, delay, or use of products.
In all cases, the total liability of Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific order in question.
Shipping Delays
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION shall not be held liable for shipping delays once the order has been transferred to the carrier.
Local Pickup
Local pickup may be offered at the sole discretion of Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION. Customers will be notified when orders are ready for pickup and must coordinate pickup arrangements in advance.
Policy Modifications
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice.
Freight Damage Claim Checklist
To ensure eligibility for any freight damage claim, customers must comply with the following procedures at the time of delivery:
At Time of Delivery
Inspect all pallets, boxes, and products before signing the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading)
Check for visible damage such as crushed boxes, broken seals, water exposure, or missing items
Do not sign as “clean” or “received in good condition” if any damage is present
If Damage Is Found
Clearly note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt (BOL) before signing
Example: “2 boxes damaged” or “pallet shrink wrap torn and items crushed”
Take clear photos of:
Damaged products
Outer packaging
Shipping labels
Entire pallet (if applicable)
Failure to document damage at delivery may result in denial of the claim.
After Delivery
Notify Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery
Provide:
Photos of the damage
Copy of the signed delivery receipt with damage noted
Order number and description of the issue
Concealed Damage
If damage is not visible at the time of delivery:
The customer must report concealed damage within forty-eight (48) hours
Original packaging must be retained for inspection
Photos and documentation are still required
Non-Compliance
Failure to follow the above procedures may result in:
Denial of the freight damage claim
Rejection of return or replacement requests
Mita's Discount Corner by TBMDISTRIBUTION is not responsible for damage claims that are not properly documented with the carrier at the time of delivery.
